Vibrant social scene. Stunning countryside. Elite sport. You’ve made a great choice to study at Bishop Burton College.
Set in beautiful countryside just a short journey from the bustling cities of Hull, Leeds and York, Bishop Burton College is in an outstanding location.
You'll be studying just a few miles from Hull, last year's City of Culture, with its festivals, theatres, concert venues, shopping centres, bars and cafes, making it a truly modern, vibrant city.
What's more, sports fans could hardly ask for more, with Hull City, Super League clubs Hull FC and Hull KR, as well as Hull RUFC and Hull Pirates all on the doorstep.
Our 360-hectare campus has everything you need to make your time at the College as fun and vibrant as possible.
More than £70million has been invested in the college’s facilities over the last ten years, meaning you will have access to the very latest technology and resources as part of your course. Our Learning Resource Centre (LRC), which sits at the heart of the campus, holds more than 35,000 books, journals and e-books for students to use as needed.
We’ve also invested a lot into sport, with an on-site gym, eight grass pitches and a large floodlit 4G pitch all available for student use. Students can register at the gym and take advantage of a reduced membership fee.
As part of our sport offering, students can take part in more than 40 sports on campus. If you’re serious about sport, or simply want to stay fit and active, there’s a team or club for you. More information on our BB Active programme will be available at our ‘What Else’ event taking place during Induction Week.
When you enrol, you will be asked to sign up to the College Charter. The Charter sets out our commitment to our students, and highlights what we expect in return. This includes treating each other and our campus with respect, striving for excellence in all that we do, and behaving appropriately at all times. You will be given a copy of the Charter at the start of your first term.
