Please arrive at the college at any time from 10am to complete your enrolment - it should take no longer than an hour. Enrolment takes place on the following days:

INDUCTION WEEK
Induction Week starts on Monday 2nd September at 9am. Please use the college buses to travel in for your first day.

The college has its own Learning Resource Centre that houses an extensive collection of books and journals. However, from time to time, it’s useful to have access to your own copies. This is the key text book that we recommend you have for your course:

The course is vocational in its delivery and as such you may have the opportunity to visit local commercial and educational science laboratories. These will provide the opportunity to see scientific processes being carried out in the workplace, as well as analytical instrumentation being used.
Trips will include visits to the coroner’s office, attending national science fairs, visiting Drax power station, national museums, local and regional university science departments and an overnight visit to London. The course will also feature guest speakers, where you will be able to ask questions about their role in the workplace e.g. in crime investigation.
Before you begin your course, you’ll need to make sure you’re prepared with the right equipment. Many of our courses need specialist health and safety clothing, but we’ve made it simple - some of your essentials and college branded clothing can be bought from our online shop.
For your course, you will need:
