BA Floristry Design - Top Up

Please arrive at the college by 9am to complete your enrolment - it should take no longer than an hour. Please follow the campus signage to find the conference hall. If you are unable to make it in for enrolment, please let us know by emailing enquiries@bishopburton.ac.uk or by calling 0800 731 8281.

In order to successfully enrol, please ensure you bring:

  • A form of photo ID
  • National Insurance number
  • Exam results slip
  • Student Finance information.

Please note, you must meet the entry requirements for the programme you have been accepted onto in order to enrol successfully. If you do not meet requirements, your enrolment on the programme will be at the discretion of the programme leader.

During your degree you will visit a range of relevant Floristry wholesalers and other commercial outlets as well as some guest speakers from the industry. Trips may include, JZ Flowers, Intergreen, GT Flowers, International Procurement and Logistics Limited – part of the Asda Group, New Covent Garden Flower Market, Bruges Winter Moments in association with Fleur Creatif, Harrogate Flower Show and Tatton Park.

Some visits may be free, but others will incur a charge varying with the nature of the visit and the distance travelled. Such charges will be kept to a reasonable rate.

Before you begin your course, you’ll need to make sure you’re prepared with the right equipment. Many of our courses need specialist health and safety clothing, but we’ve made it simple - some of your essentials and college branded clothing can be bought from our online shop.

For your course, you will need:

  • A tablet, smartphone or laptop to take notes in lectures and seminars
  • Stationery including sketch book, a selection of paper types and a rage of drawing pens and pencils
  • USB stick and / or portable hard drive
  • Digital camera
  • Flowers: Please expect to pay approximately £250 per year for specific floristry materials. Alternatively, Level 6 students can source and provide their own.
